Mike has shown his work in a variety of Scottish Galleries as well as in London, Amsterdam, Barcelona and New Dehli. He has also been commissioned to create a series of permanent and temporary Public Art installations across Scotland.
His practice is in a very experimental period and his responses are constantly evolving as the work continues to develop. He is interested in examining and scrutinizing ideas that surround superstitions and belief systems in a wide variety of contexts.
Sometimes his work can be seen in galleries and at other times is seen in the context of the urban environment. Working at the intersection where Urban art meets Fine Art and Public Art allows him to investigate ideas of autonomy within Public Art and also to question methods and processes.
